Yes, you can afford designer fashions, and you deserve them too.

The number of lovely ladies I meet who are amazed when I tell them what I do still astonishes me. Pre-loved fashion is not a new thing – charity shops have been going forever, but elevating the concept to pre-loved designer fashion seems still to be an idea that surprises people.

What do I say when these lovely ladies admit to their amazement? I ask them if they love beautiful clothes. I then ask if they appreciate top quality and robust making. I then ask them if they think they don’t deserve either of these things. And finally I tell them that at Dress Cheshire the cost of pre-loved designer fashions would make their jaws drop – with joy.

One reason buying pre-loved designer clothes makes such great sense is that the most high end brands create stunning, timeless designs and have them made to the very best standards. Even the most famous of brands would soon lose its market if their clothes wore out fast. Mix timeless design with robust making and you end with a piece that can be worn year, after year, after year.

So if that’s the case, why are they in my shop, and not in the buyer’s wardrobe? Well, you know how it is – every stylish lady grows tired of wearing the same pieces season after season, and by re-selling their fashions through Dress Cheshire they can have their no-longer-loved pieces contribute towards new fashions they’ll love more. It’s a very healthy cycle of sustainability.

At Dress Cheshire I also take great care to curate a collection of brands that are accessible to most pockets. As well as the most obvious designer brands – such as Chanel, Gucci or Dior – I carry pieces by premium high street brands such as Joseph Ribkoff, Reiss, Ted Baker, Sandro and Maje. I currently have a wonderful collection of summery pieces from those resort brands you find in exotic locations around the globe too – beautifully made but not so well known here, such as Amiri, Melissa Odabash Beach, and Karma on the Beach. You will even find beautiful pieces from mid-range high street brands, including Zara and & Other Stories.

So – I ask you now: do you love beautiful clothes? Do you love beautifully made clothes? Do you deserve beautiful, beautifully made clothes? Do you want beautiful, beautifully made clothes at prices that will make you smile? Visit the website or come along to the boutique, and be amazed.
